Mikael Sado (26) is currently working as an organizational advisor and has been involved in community and volunteer work from a young age. He has held various roles in organizations and advisory councils in Oslo, and is passionate about inclusion, fairness, and making systems easier to understand and more accessible to everyone. Mikael has also worked as a photographer, sales manager, and project leader – and thrives where structure meets humanity. In August, he will begin a bachelor’s degree in back-end development, with a strong interest in bringing more inclusive thinking into the world of tech.
"Growing up trans without a safe or supportive community can leave deep marks on one’s mental health and sense of belonging. Mikael has had to work hard to find his place – and today, he’s committed to being someone others can recognize themselves in, especially when they can’t yet see anyone else who looks like them or shares their story."
