Tonje Brenna (born 1987) became Minister of Labour and Social Inclusion on October 16, 2023, in Jonas Gahr Støre’s government. Brenna served as Minister of Education from October 2021, until October 2023.
Before that, she was the Chair of County Government of Viken. She has also previously served as a political adviser in the Ministry of Justice and Public Security and at the Prime Minister’s Office during Jens Stoltenberg’s second government.
Brenna is the Deputy Leader of The Norwegian Labour Party.
